FAQs

What is the application process?

Once you have chosen your desired investment product we will send you an online application form to confirm your details and eligibility. We would then require a copy of your ID (Passport/Drivers Licence or ID Card) and a recent utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months for AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks. Upon successful confirmation of these checks you will be given the bank details of the product provider so you can transfer your investment amount. Once funds have been received, your investment will begin straight away.

How long does the investment process take?

The investment process is very simple. Once we have received all the necessary documentation and confirmation that your funds have cleared your investment will start working straight away.

What fees do HyLife charge their clients?

We do not charge our clients any fees at all.

Are there any hidden fees?

There are no hidden fees with any of the investments we offer.

When do I start to receive my income?

This depends on the investment you have chosen, however most of the investments we have available pay immediate monthly or quarterly returns.

When do I receive my invested capital back?

You will receive your invested capital back upon the maturity of your chosen investment. The investment length you can choose is usually between 12 months to 3 years.

Can I withdraw my invested capital before the maturity date?

It is important to understand that your capital will be tied up for the entire duration of the investment term you have agreed and you will not be able to withdraw your invested capital early. This is one of the reasons why we specialise in short-term investments as it gives you far more flexibility.

What if I want to keep my investment for longer?

Your investment will be returned to you automatically on the maturity date but you can simply re-invest in the product for another investment term, subject to availability.

Is there anyone I can meet at HyLife?

Yes. We welcome all clients to meet their portfolio manager at our London Office. Please feel free to contact us via phone or email to arrange an appointment.

Why do I need to self-certify?

The investments we introduce are non-transferable and cannot be sold or redeemed before maturity and therefore are only suitable for High-Net-Worth individuals or Sophisticated Investors who fully understand the risks involved with investing. Interested parties are therefore required to certify that they do in fact qualify as either a High-Net-Worth or Sophisticated Investor before entering into any investment.

Do I send any funds to HyLife?

No we do not accept client funds. All funds are sent directly to the product provider you have chosen.

What is a loan note?

A loan note is a professionally structured financial instrument; it is a legally binding contract that specifies the direction of the loan when the loan is required to be re-paid and the interest payable. Loan notes can be unsecured or secured, with the latter being the safer option.

By investing in a loan note do I get any ownership of the company?

No, investing into a Loan note is very different to buying a stock or a share. With a share you own a part of the company and your growth could be higher, lower, or even negative depending on company performance. With a loan note you are lending the company money for a fixed length of time and will receive a fixed interest rate in return.

Are HyLife FCA Regulated?

HyLife are not FCA Regulated as we are not required to be. We do not provide financial advice and recommend that clients seek independent financial advice from an FCA authorised and regulated advisor. HyLife does however ensure that it operates to FCA standards and requirements.

Are HyLife responsible for how my investment performs?

No. HyLife are an independent introducer of investment opportunities that are issued directly by the product providers seeking finance. The performance and responsibilities of the investments lie solely with the providers. It is therefore important to do thorough due diligence on any investment to establish whether it is right for you.
